A lighter cover flap — with comparable mechanical properties and lower material cost.

Natural fibre has a density of around 1.3 g/cm³, markedly below glass fibre at about 1.9 g/cm³. On a large-area flap that primarily has to deliver surface and stiffness rather than being designed at its strength limit, this density advantage translates directly into part weight — without any loss of function.

Send us a drawing or a sample. We assess feasibility, weight and part costs and come back with a clear evaluation.
