Help build the next generation of components.

We make natural fiber composite industrial — and we're looking for people who want to advance material, process and part.

Why Fibryx

Work on a new class of materials.

Real deep tech

A new material class + our own patented manufacturing process — you work on substance, not on slides.

Spin-off spirit

From the University of Stuttgart into industry — flat hierarchies, short paths, lots of room to shape things.

Visible impact

Lighter, more economical, more sustainable: your work ends up in real series parts.

Growth

We're scaling team and production — responsibility from day one, development guaranteed.

Areas

Where we're looking for reinforcement.

We're growing — these areas are especially exciting. Even without a matching posting, we welcome your speculative application.

Fiber composite / NFRP development

Material and layup design, simulation, part development.

Manufacturing & process engineering

Impregnation, tooling, process window, automation, QA.

Design / CAD

Part and tool design, dimensioning, tolerances.

Sales / business development

Customer projects, concept studies, industry development.

Note: areas for orientation — we add specific job postings on an ongoing basis.

Day to day

What the work here is like.

Fibryx grew out of research at the University of Stuttgart and is currently building the bridge from technology to series production. In practice that means: much is not yet finally defined, processes emerge along the way, and whoever raises a question usually helps work out the answer.

Anyone looking for clearly bounded work packages and established procedures will not be happy here. Anyone who wants to think about material, process and part together — and can live with an answer taking three attempts — will find unusual room to shape things.

What we look for

What counts — and what does not.

What we look at
  • Interest in how a part actually comes about, not only how it is designed
  • Willingness to stand in production, not only at the computer
  • Care with figures and claims — we promise customers nothing we cannot substantiate
  • Comfort with responsibilities that are still shifting
What you do not need
  • Prior experience specifically with natural fibre — hardly anyone has it, you learn that here
  • A perfectly matching degree — we look at what someone can do
  • Unbroken career histories
Application

How it proceeds.

We want to know what you would like to work on — and you should see how we work.

01

A short message is enough

A CV and a few sentences on what interests you. We do not need a templated cover letter.

02

Conversation

We talk about your background and about what we are currently working on — open in both directions.

03

On site

You see the production, the equipment and the team. That says more about the role than any description.

Frequently asked

Questions about applying

Do you take working students and thesis projects?
Yes. Particularly on material and process topics there are regular questions suited to a thesis. Write to us about what you would like to work on.
Do I need experience with fibre composites?
Helpful, but not a condition. Hardly anyone brings experience specifically with natural fibre — that develops here. Technical understanding and willingness to learn matter more.
Are there currently specific vacancies?
The areas listed show where we are growing. Specific vacancies change — which is why speculative applications are expressly welcome and are not treated as second class.
Is remote work possible?
Partly. Development and design can be done off site at times, production and process engineering naturally cannot. We clarify that per role.
Where is the place of work?
Neuhausen auf den Fildern, south-east of Stuttgart and easily reached from the region.
