An existing GFRP cover flap needed to become significantly lighter — without compromising stiffness, mounting or surface, and at competitive cost.

Solution

Designed as an NFRP part with an adapted layup and targeted reinforcements at the mounting points; manufactured with NFK Wetpreg Molding for reproducible quality.

The Fibryx algorithm optimizes cutting patterns and patches for natural fibers; combined with semi-automated impregnation, this enables fast, precise placement.
